Heat Pumps

With a heat pump, you can heat your pool with maximum energy efficiency, with the flexibility of being able to swim year-round. Heat pumps draw the heat from the air and trasfer it to the water. This process works regardless of the weather and even in temperatures below 0°C. Heat pumps consume electricity and so the running cost will depend on the usage, but for the electricity used, 5 times as much energy is transferred to the water as heat.

Smaller heat pumps can be used as season-extenders, whilst larger units can be used to heat the pool year-round. Heat pump sizing depends on the use case, location, wind, temperatures and evaporation.
